This notice explains what Quantise processes when you use the site and the app, why, for how long, and what your rights are. It is written in plain words on purpose. The short version: your drawings are scanned and then deleted; what you make from them is kept for you; nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
Quantise is Quantise Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as Quantise.io. You can reach us about anything in this notice at info@quantise.io.
When you upload a drawing pack, it is held only long enough to be scanned. The scan produces the Bill of Materials; once it has finished, the uploaded files are deleted from our systems. We do not keep drawings, we do not use them to train any model, and nothing from them is shared with anyone except the AI service that performs the scan, below.
The AI service that scans the drawings is operated by Anthropic, under terms that forbid training on your data. Anthropic holds what it is sent for up to 30 days under its standard retention policy, then deletes it.
The outputs you make are kept in your account so you can come back to them: the Bill of Materials, the quote, your edits, your purchase orders, your documents, your suppliers and the prices you enter. They are kept until you delete a job or close your account. You can delete a job at any time from My Jobs, which removes its outputs from our systems.
We keep the details you give us to run your account and print your documents: your name, company, email address, the address, phone number, VAT and company numbers you choose to print on purchase orders, and your company logo if you upload one. They are used for that and for messages about your account. We do not send marketing email without asking you first.
If you were invited to an account by its owner, we keep your name, email address and sign-in so you can work in that account. The owner decides who is on the account and can remove you; the account's own details, letterhead and limits are theirs. You can ask us what we hold about you at any time.
If you ask for a pilot place through the site, we keep what you wrote to reply to you and to set up the conversation. We do not add you to any list.
The app runs on Render in Frankfurt, in the European Economic Area. The AI scan is performed by Anthropic, named above.
The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The app sets one cookie to keep you signed in.
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can close your account at any time. Write to info@quantise.io. If you are unhappy with how we have handled something, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If this notice changes, the date below changes with it, and if the change matters we tell account holders by email.
